PERSONAL STATEMENT

My name is Brianna Jennings and I'm a 5'2" hardworking softball player. I'm truly dedicated to this sport. I'm an athlete who understands the game of softball. My most important accomplishments are:

• *  4 years of Rampart High school academic honor roll
• *  3 years of Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) Academic First team honors for Softball and Lacrosse.
• *  4 years of Honors with The National Society of High School Scholars
• *  4 years as a tri-sport athlete (4yrs Varsity Softball, and Lacrosse, JV, Varsity Basketball)
• *  Hitting 30 home runs during my 2018 16A Club/High School season, and 42 homeruns during my 2019 16A/18A club/High school season
• *  Being named Colorado Springs Metro League (CSML) All-League First Team 3yrs Softball, 2yrs Lacrosse, Second Team 1yr Softball
• *  3yrs CHSAA/MaxPreps All-State Honorable Mention (Softball)
• *  4yrs of Gazette Preps First Team All Stars Selectee (Softball)
• *  4yr varsity starter on my high school softball/Lacrosse team
• *  3yr Team MVP Rampart Softball
• *  The current career record holder for Rampart High School Softball in Home Runs, Hits, Stolen Bases, Runs Scored, Runs Batted In, and Slugging percentage

Knowing that I'm capable of playing softball in college makes me more passionate for this sport. What I can offer to your team is, I am a team player, I lead by example on and off the field, and my promise to always work hard and never give up. I will always be the first on the field and the last to leave.

When it comes to choosing what college, I would like to attend, my options are vast. I am primarily looking at west coast states (Washington, Oregon, Arizona, California, etc.) but I am very open to moving anywhere. I am open minded about colleges and hope to just find a college that suits me best. It doesn't matter about the size or location; if I can receive a good quality education and play softball, I will be ecstatic. My top two choices for a major as of right now is either Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing softball at a highest competition level as possible and to play on USA Olympic team. Another goal of mine is to continue to make a positive impact on my club and high school teams. Knowing at the end of the day that I made a difference in the game and in people’s lives would mean the world to me.
