Cassidy Paulson '19 Recruiting Profile

I moved away from my home in Colorado to follow my dreams of playing softball at a higher level in August of 2019.  Not knowing if I made the right decision I began to make friends and memories that I believe will last a lifetime. The season ended short as did every other spring sports season making me realize the impact this sport has on my life. Through this season I have gained skills in becoming a leader, communicating, and overcoming challenges both on and off the field. I learned the value of teamwork and commitment that I will continue to bring with me through the rest of my life. My coaches and friends would agree that I am very goofy and love to laugh, and especially dance to Beyoncé. 

I will be continuing my athletic and academic career at Neosho County Community College for one more year working to gain different skills necessary to compete at a higher level. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me both academically but athletically as well. I believe that I not only have the talent of playing at a higher level, but the work ethic, leadership skills, and love for the game that will have a great impact on your program.
