Hi my name is Daphne Specht, I am 15 years old. I am from South Windsor CT, and I am a softball player. I play for the CT Bombers 14U White, out of Franklin CT. My primary position is catcher, I also play 1st and 3rd. I am a freshman at South Windsor High School, I have a 3.9 GPA. In my whole education I have achieved 13 high honors. I am a hard worker in my school work and athletics. I have always been told to put my education first and I make sure to do that as a student-athlete. I make sure that my character reflects on and off the field, whether its in school or at something softball related. I make sure I am a good teammate and help them out if they need it or ask. In my personal life I make sure that I surround myself with friends who are supportive, an in a good environment for my education. I regularly volunteer in my town's rec program to help spread the knowledge of softball to young athletes. I have been thinking of my future college career as a student-athlete, and I don't have a preference for what division it is. Just as long as I can get the right education, and can have playing time. But also that the coaches are interested in me and like me, but I also feel the same way.
