My name is Ariana Guinassi, and I am part of the class of 2022. I am a utility player for my high school team and play second and third base for the CT Bombers.
My desire to continue playing softball at a collegiate level has always been something I have been ardent about. Sports has always been a huge part of my life growing up. Throughout the years, trying different sports helped me find my passion for softball. Not only has softball given me the opportunity to find myself happiest at, but also another place I can consider home. I have been playing for the CT Bombers since I was 11 years old. Being a part of a team of girls who share my love for the game has been the biggest blessing I never thought I would have needed. The experiences and opportunities softball have given me, are memories I would not trade for the world. Softball teaches me to play the game with heart. Therefore, from the smell of fresh cut grass, to the chalked up dirt, from every foul to championship game, I have a purpose for playing… to continue to succeed. I am eager to expand my knowledge of softball and become the best player I can be.
In addition to playing softball, I play soccer and basketball for my high school. I enjoy playing a sport every season because it allows me to remain in shape all year round.
I am a senior at Saint Bernard School in Uncasville, CT. I am currently interested in studying in areas such as Sports Management and/or Business. I have remained a well rounded student and have excelled in all subjects throughout every school year. Overall, I am interested and excited to find a school that fits me both academically and athletically.
