Tristen Blocker '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tristen Blocker from Patterson, GA . Softball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.  It is truly my passion. I play for the 16U Cage team coached by Paul Brannen out of Odum, GA. I have played competitive travel ball since I was 7 years old. The love I have for the game is indescribable. I also play for my Pierce County High School in Blackshear, GA coached by Robbie Spires.

I am a left-handed first baseman and a right-handed power hitter. My strengths include my consistency at the plate as well as on the field. My ability to remain focused and perform my job in high pressured situations is also one of my strengths. Most importantly, I am a team player and I believe in leading by example. I was blessed to receive the honor of 2^nd Team All-Region for the 2018-2019 season.

I am an extremely hard worker both on the field and in the classroom. I am enrolled in honor classes with a 4.0 GPA. I have been a member of the National Beta Club for the last three years. For the 2018-2019 PCHS softball team, I was recognized for having the highest GPA and received the Scholar Athlete Award. I also received the honor of being selected to be a Junior Usher for the graduating class of 2019. In addition, I was presented with the Georgia Certificate of Merit from the State of Georgia and the University of Georgia for my superior scholastic endeavors, placing me in the top 5% of my class.

I am entering my senior year and preparing for my future. Given the opportunity to play and excel at the collegiate level would be a dream come true.
