May 2020 Personal Statement
My name is Michelle Hess, or Shelly, and my primary positions are 3rd and 2nd base, but I can be beneficial to the team almost anywhere on the field. I am a very mentally tough player, and a supportive teammate. A big part of my mentality is to have fun while still working hard and staying focused. Academically, I have a 3.71/4.00 weighted GPA, and I would like to work as a teacher. I would be a good addition to your team because I understand the game well, and I always show up looking to become a better person and player. I am currently a varsity starter playing mostly second base. Although being a starter in the 2022 high school softball season, it was ended early due to an injury.
