I believe that teamwork and positive attitude will lead any team to success. What I love most about softball is being part of a team.  I can always be heard cheering on all my teammates and I provide positive leadership from both behind the plate and in the dugout. I am a hard worker that puts forth all of my effort not only on the field, but as a student athlete at a college preparatory high school.
As a freshman, I am the starting catcher for the varsity softball team. As the youngest player, this position has forced me to be a leader both on and off the field. I love being a catcher because I am involved in every play of the game and I assist in executing a strong defense behind my pitchers. 
 As a player and a student; I am coachable, dedicated and display a positive work ethic. These attributes will help me as an athlete, but more importantly they will help me throughout my life.
