Personal Statement
I started swimming when I was 6 years old. I have always loved to swim and I knew that I wanted to swim competitively ever since I was 2. Swimming is a passion of mine and I have been dedicated to the sport for as long as I can remember.
I danced from ages 3-13 through different groups. Ages 5-13 I did musical theater with Spotlight Youth Theater (now CYT or Christian Youth Theater). Ages 6-13 I played the violin. When I was 13 I decided to focus on swimming.
I enjoy working hard and I don’t give up easily. Swimming has always been a part of my life and I hope it stays that way for many years to come.
