When I was 6 years old I started playing softball. I knew right away that I loved it, it was a part of me, something I thought about constantly. Also around that time I took a line drive to the face, pretty rad right?? My family didn't think I would want to play anymore, but nothing was stopping me. I stayed determined to learn and play the game. I believe in working hard above all else. When I was younger my coaches tried to discourage me from pitching because I hadn't refined my skills yet. I kept my dream of pitching alive and worked on it with my dad and instructor in my free time. As I started to see myself improve, I still wasn't encouraged by my coaches to keep pitching. Eventually I was able to play for some awesome coaches that believed in me, they encouraged me to keep working hard and gave me a chance to show them my hard work. I haven't stopped working hard since and don't plan to anytime soon. I am an asset to my team, not only can I pitch like a beast, but I can hit the ball... hard! I love helping my team out anyway possible. If they need someone to play first, third or outfield I am that girl. I will never stop until I reach my goal of playing at the highest level possible.
