Tell coaches about your collegiate goals and aspirations.—
Hello coaches, please allow me to share my dreams, goals, and aspirations.
Sports have been a part of my life since I could remember. I have played many organized sports such as softball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, and swimming. Of all the sports I’ve participated in, my true love is with the game of softball. Having played baseball with all boys up to the age of 13, has helped me attain a more completive attitude. I was able to prove that I excel, not only in my skill-set but in showing that I was tougher than any other girl they’d ever seen. Velocity, accuracy, and bat speed are a few of the skills that helped me compete and transition into softball.
While athletics has a deep place in my heart, my priority is to obtain an education that will help my career aspirations. I would like to attend a college that would propel me into the career of my choice and prepare me to excel on and off the field.
What makes you a good candidate for their team?—
I was raised to always be a leader on and off the field. Being coachable and having the ability to adapt quickly to new instruction makes me versatile. I am able to run the bases very quickly and I’m able to play numerous positions. I'm very selfless and put my team before myself so that my team as a whole is successful.
What makes you different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics?—
I am a genuine person who is always honest. I take criticisms very well and apply it to better myself. I surround myself with good people. I spend a lot of time with family and make every moment memorable.
I recently earned All- Conference and Player of the Year (Most Valuable Player). I’ve helped to lead my team to conference, regional , and sectional championships.
I’ve been able to maintain a 3.2 GPA a long with earning awards for being on the honor roll since 4th grade. School has always been a main priority throughout my life along with family. I’ve always been able to balance academics and athletics.
