My name is Jenna Harper and I am a hardworking utility player that focuses on catching, first & third base. I am the "go to" player that can switch positions quickly and fill my team's defensive needs. I will graduate in 2022 from Kaneland High School.
I play for the Illinois (Schaumburg) Sluggers 16U-VA. I am deeply in love with the game of softball, and I try to always work to the best of my abilities. Playing organized travel softball for over 7 years has made me not only a smart player, but also a student of the game.
I can place the ball from both sides of the plate where needed to help generate runs for my team!
During travel ball season, I compete at a high level of competition and I look forward to continuing down this path of success.
I not only push myself on the field, but I also push myself academically. I received a 3 on my AP Human Geography exam last summer and too both the AP US History and AP Statistics exams this Spring. MY plans for my Senior year are to take AP Spanish as well as other enhanced classes to challenge myself and gain a deeper level of knowledge around those specific subjects. I currently have a 3.97 GPA. My current ACT is a 28 and my SAT score is a 1230. I have also received the Academic Achievement award 2 years running.
My love for learning and internal drive towards achieving one of these careers is the same type of internal drive and commitment I put into my roles on the softball field.
I am aggressively looking for a College/ University with a strong forensics science, Animal Sciences or engineering program. I am looking for a school supports and encourages this academic drive as well as a strong commitment to success on the softball field!
