My goal is to play a game I love while I begin a new chapter in my life; earning a degree in Special Education. All my life I have struggled with Auditory Processing issues. People have been so patient with me, taking extra time to help me understand. I have an IEP and without all the special education teachers helping me, I am not sure where I would have ended up. Their dedication as well as playing softball, have shaped who I am. I want to help others like me; who can succeed, and be their adovocate. I want to make a difference in other peoples lives.
I wanted to try other positions in softball, so I tried out for the New Lenox Lightning for 3rd base! And I made it! I enjoy the new challenges, learning a new aspect of softball and playing in higher competition.
I work hard! I train hard! I play travel ball, attend school, attend lessons in catching and hitting and hold down a part-time job at Colonial Ice Cream. My job at Colonial helps me learn new communication skills in dealing with the public; and I provide the best customer service I can! I am very organized! I love animals!
I would love an opportunity for you to see who I am! I do not get easily discouraged, I just work harder!
