My name is Rebecca Neupauer. I am a sophomore at Pittsfield High School. I am ranked 11th out of my class of 84, with a GPA of 4.9 on a 5.0 scale. I play softball and volleyball right now. I also used to play football, basketball, and I also used to wrestle and run track. Being in all those sports has taught me so much not only about the sport itself but life lessons that will stick with me forever. Softball is my all time favorite, of course. For my high school team, I started varsity as a freshman. I had a .588 batting average with 30 stolen bases in 19 games. Not only do I love playing the sport but I love helping the younger girls that play little league in my hometown so when they grow up they can be the best they can be. My ambition is to play at the highest level that I can. It has always been my dream to be the girl playing on the television, winning national titles and freshman of the year awards and other awards. My dad has been the one that has been there my whole softball career, so I am always playing for him because I know that he pushes me because he wants me to be the best that I can be. Softball has done so much for me, it’s my happy place and I always love to be on the field or in the cages doing something. My passion for the game is so strong. Every play that I make I am always pushing myself to make myself to be the best that I can be. I play deep down and play with my heart. I am an all around good person. If someone has a question or needs help with anything I am always happy to help. I am respectful to my peers, teammates, and my authority figures. I am a very coachable player, I know that my coaches can only make me better, so when I need to change something, I do it. I am a very good leader. I am very accountable for everything that I do. When I have a task to do I am very focused on it. I am passionate about the things that I do. I am a good listener if anyone has an idea I didn’t think about, or if anyone has advice. I am a good team player. I love that softball is such a team sport because I love working with others. I accept when I fail, but I don’t let it affect me. I learn from my mistakes and I am determined to be better the next time. I am worthy of all good things, and I want to be the best version of myself with everything and I will push myself until I am.
Perfect Game stated about me after watching one of my tournaments:

Rebecca Neupauer (2024 Pittsfield, IL) is a LHH
Slapper/Hitter for Future Swings 18u. Neupauer, appears just as comfortable moving in the box as she does digging in to swing away, and showed success in both disciplines. In the slap, Neupauer does not rush her foot work, does not allow her front shoulder to fly open, and shows excellent barrel awareness in utilizing the soft or hard slap. Once the ball is down, she demonstrates plus speed to get down the line or around the bases. On the bases, Neupauer is a threat to steal at any time, utilizing a well timed push off the bag, and gifted speed. This young lady has the ability to be a lead-off batter at the next level, and will get the opportunity to move on, if she chooses to.
