Carley Hacke '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi I am Carley Hacke and I attend high-school at Sacred Heart- Griffin in Springfield Illinois. I am in the class of 2022. My goals as of right now is to do my best grade wise and athletic wise in high-school. I am a double sport athlete so I am used to dealing with homework and athletics. I also have a job so I balance my job on top of everything  else.

I am a Junior but because of Covid I have only played my freshman season. In that season I made the JV and Varsity team. I did not start Varsity but I was the backup first baseman and I had my fair share of starts. 

Outside of high-school softball I have played competitively since I was 11. I have played for 3 teams but I have stuck with the same group of girls for about 4 years now. On my travel team which is Capital City Chaos 04' I play third base and I pitch. I have hit third in my teams line-up for 3 years now. 

I am a good candidate for your team because I am not a selfish player. I understand that some people have a specific spot they really want to play but I will go wherever my coach feels the need to put me. I am in love with this sport and I cannot imagine quitting sooner than I have to. I also am a leader, as the pitcher on my travel team and one of the oldest members the coaches and the girls look to me as one of the leaders on the team.
