My name is Grace Lagerhausen. I will graduate in 2021. My goal is to play collegiate softball during my college years. At the moment, I am unsure of what I want to do for a future career. However, biology and anatomy have always interested me.
Most people would call me determined, hardworking, smart, and kind. I am shy at first, but I open up once I get to know someone. I am always trying to become a better player on and off the field. Softball has become an outlet and a lifestyle for me. My parents were very involved in my activities when I was little. They have always been one of my coaches whether it was softball, soccer, or basketball. My love for softball grew over the years. I am always looking to improve and become a student of the game. In my spare time, I enjoy painting, reading, crafts, and watching Netflix.
As for my academics, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my 3 years of high school. I am always striving to get that A on a test and in class. Volleyball, spring musical, renaissance chairman, reading buddies, and NHS are some of the other extracurriculars I participate in. School is very important to me and my future. During the Covid closures, maintaining my education was difficult, but I knew how important my education was, so I made extra efforts to do my best at completing my assignments. I am looking forward to what my future holds.
