Hi my name is Kiera Evans. I am 17 years old and I will be a senior this upcoming school year at H.L. Bourgeois High school in Gray, Louisiana. As a softball player I do not only want to succeed on the field but also in the classroom. I currently hold a 4.1 gpa and I’m one out of nine that are in the running for our school’s valedictorian. After high school I want to attend college to pursue a career in the medical field which requires a lot of hard work and dedication. Not only do I study hard and stay on top of my academics, but I also work hard to better myself as a softball player. My dream is to carry my softball skills over to the college level and one day get to play on the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. I just had to trust in the process and keep striving to be better than the person I was yesterday. “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” I believe I can accomplish my dreams. I think I am a great candidate for virtually any college because I put in hard work both on and off the field which sets me apart from many others.
