The biggest influence on who I am today, is being an older sister. I had to grow up being a leader, setting good life examples, and display confidence so that my siblings could grow up with a positive out look on life. Those characteristics definitely follow me on to the court and make me the team player I am.
I was introduced to volleyball my 7th grade year when I was sought out by my school's coach to attend try outs. I immediately fell in love with the game and ever since I have had a growing desire to play at the next level. Through playing volleyball I've learned to never give up on myself no matter how hard it may get, as long as I have a will to make myself better there will always be a way. As far as high school my academic goal is to graduate in the top 20% of my class with a 3.5 GPA or higher, and for college I want to earn a Master's degree in nursing. Being a multi sport athlete what sets me apart from my teammates is the positive attitude and my instilled drive to never give up.
