Hello, my name is Emily Bonnett. I am currently enrolled at The Catholic High School of Baltimore and I am scheduled to graduate as a member of the class of 2022. I began playing softball at the age of 6 years old and have been playing ever since then. In my freshman year of high school, I made the varsity softball team and am now a three-year veteran of the team. This year, as a junior, I was named captain along with two other teammates. I played for Xtreme for roughly two years, and am now on Berkshire Elite's 18u Club Softball team. My primary position for high school is the starting 2B and my secondary is 3B. For my club team, my primary is 3B and my secondary fluctuates between SS and 2B.
When it comes down to my academics, I am very hard on myself and strive for academic excellence. I have narrowed down my college choices to somewhere that will provide me with the best education in my field of study, as well as a strong team to play alongside with. I plan to study pre-nursing in my first four to six years of college and I plan to later enroll in nursing school. It is my dream to work in a hospital setting around critical-conditioned patients. I have decided to stay local, meaning I would like to work at R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.
