I aspire to attend a school that fulfills both my academic and athletic needs. I would like to attend a school that would challenge me both on and off the field. I would be a good candidate because I constantly strive to do my very best at everything I put my mind to. Since i am on the smaller side, I am a quick runner and can steal bases with relative ease by sliding around the fielder. Because of my size, it is typically assumed that I do not have very much power in my swing, but that is not true. What makes me unique from other recruits is that I use my entire body's force each time I swing, allowing me to swing very hard. Outfielder tend to creep in when I am up to bat and I surprise them by hitting the ball over their heads. Characteristically, I am very friendly and can get along with anyone. I try to avoid conflict with peers and coaches, but if I ever have a question concerning how I am doing, I am not afraid to ask what it is I need to improve on. Academically, I am in the Law and Public Policy magnet school. I challenge myself with vigorous AP courseworks as well as with my law magnet studies. Current GPA is 3.4/4.0.
