Softball has brought out the best in me. I went from being a shy kid - who was a follower to a starting pitcher - who is now a leader. I changed from being quiet to a motivator in and outside the dugout. I had an IEP in Elementary School to now a 4.14 GPA and a NHS member. I am my own person; walking away from all the drama. Numerous occasions, I have been told how coachable I am. I don't consider this with just softball, it's with my school work, and my job, I know the comradery of being on a team is transferable to a work environment. Today, it makes me a better peer and eventually a leader in larger organization.
I'm excited that I have chosen a career in Digital Marketing/Business. I'm looking for that school that will continue to push me to that next level, to explode on and off the field, to have teachers and coaches that will continue to bring out the best in who I am. When not in class/studying, I want to use my athleticism to it's full potential. I want to be on the field, playing strategically - as it should be, bonding with a group of girls that have similar interests, playing the game I am so passionate about. I assure you, selecting me for your roster will be a decision will never regret.
