I believe I am a great candidate for any college softball team based on my love of the sport and my commitment to softball. I was nominated as a Boston Globe All Scholastic All Star after my freshman year performance on my varsity Matignon High School softball team, taking the team to the 3rd round of The Catholic Conference State Tournament. At the end of my sophomore year, I was nominated to be the captain of the team. I love to take responsibility for the leadership role and bonding with my teammates.
I have played softball for 8 years and I am beginning my 6th year in tournament ball. I am currently playing on a national team called The Mass Rapids as a third baseman and utility player. In addition to softball, I made the Varsity Volleyball Team as a freshman and I have continued to play since. I have volunteered at various school events, The American Breast Cancer Society, and Perkins School for the Blind. I have held various jobs including babysitting, lawn work, and shoveling. I love my family, exploring Boston with my friends and listening to music in my free time.
Due to my love of softball and sports in general, I am exploring the possibility of focusing my college studies on Exercise Physiology, Sports medicine etc.
