My name is Juliana Lancette and I am a freshman at Shepherd Hill Regional High School. Softball has been a huge part of my life ever since I first started playing at four. I've been in love with the game for as long as I can remember. I love playing on a team, and having everyone become my family. I play second base and outfield. My speed is one of my most valuable aspects, so being in the middle infield and outfield is perfect for me. I am very motivated, hard working, coachable, respectful, and strong minded, which are also very important aspects of mine that make me a great player. I have a black belt in karate which I worked hard for years to achieve. Doing that allowed me to not only work on my physical strength, but my mental too. At my black belt test, they tried to mentally break me, but they weren't successful. That was the day I realized that I can achieve anything I put my mind to. That realization has helped me with many things in my life such as school. I am in honors classes for english, algebra, biology, and history. And then accelerated honors for spanish. I am also taking a pathway called Principles of Biomedical Science. My dream is to go into the medical field and be able to help people, more specifically, to be an anesthesiologist.
