October 2016Personal Statement
I just completed my Junior Year at Wachusett Regional High School in Holden, Massachusetts which has a population of 2,200 students. It was a very exciting softball season for me. My Varsity Team made high school history by wining our first District Title and making our first ever appearance in the Div 1 State Finals. My primary positions for both High School & ASA Travel are 2B, 3B and OF. I was honored by being appointed Team Captain for the upcoming 2018 season. I'm a versatile athlete who likes playing multiple positions and contributing wherever my team needs me. My coaches have said my key strengths are my aggressiveness and mental awareness on the base paths. Another one of my key strengths is my range on the field.
As a student, I take as much pride in the classroom as I do on the field. I am an honors student with a very strong work ethic and have challenged myself by enrolling in AP Biology & European History this upcoming academic year. I'm passionate about Science and History & currently maintain a 3.4 GPA. The past few summers I have volunteered my time with Habitat for Humanity. My goal is to continue to play softball at the Collegiate level, while pursuing a degree in Biology/Natural Science. I hope to have a career in the Forensic Science Field.
