My name is Abigail Tower class of 2025 at Tewksbury Memorial High School in Massachusetts. I’ve beven playing Sotfball since I was 7 years old and Travel Ball for the past 9 years. I am currently playing travel softball for the Polar Crush organization. My High School Softball career started as an eighth grader. I was the starting 3rd basemen for the Tewksbury, MA High School Junior Varsity Team as an eighth grader and we were 13-0 . This year my sophmore year like my Freshmen year I am the returning starter at 3rd base for the Varsity Team. We had success last year as we were the Div. 2 state runner-up. We are hoping to return to the Div. 2 State Championship Game rthis year and win this time. Although my primary positon is 3rd base, I can play any position except pitcher. Softball has taught me about Team Work, Commitment, Dedication, Leadership and most importantly how to balance school work and playing softball. Since early on in my softball career I’ve dreamt about playing at the collegiate level. My dream changed to a goal after attending the College world Series in Oklahoma last year. It was quite an experience and made my desire to play at the collegiate level even stronger. More importantly that trip made me believe it is achievable. I want to continue to excel in the classroom by maintaining my GPA and at the same time strive to realize my dream of playing softball for a college that shares my drive to be successful. I have always, and will continue to put in the time and effort necessary to succeed.
