I'm Ava Husson! I am a hard-working student-athlete. In this past 2023 season of WHS varsity softball, I have the role of captain for my second year. I am starting captain. My coaches, athletic directors, and I are working on creating a youth softball clinic run by our team so we encourage young girls to start playing and to keep playing in the future, and give my teammates the chance to get community service hours! I work hard on and off the field and strive to improve academically and physically. I am experienced in working with other athletes to train on and off the field. I appreciate advice from my coaches and teammates and try to learn and understand improvement. I care about communication with my family, teammates, coaches, and peers. I like to practice with my teammates during and off-season to build our best strategies and build a positive bond with my team.
