Coach,
Thank you first and foremost for taking your time to read my personal statement to you. I wanted to give you a little bit of a foresight of who I am and who I want to become. I am the third child out of four children. Having an older sisters (eight years older) and an older brother (six years older) it enabled me to grow up and develop at a quicker fashion including my vocabulary and my gross motor skills. I have seen first hand my parents own and operate a Chiropractic office my entire life, I have personally witnessed what it takes including the extra hours and the stuff behind the scenes to be ultra-successful.
My parents initially signed me up for softball a sport which I new little about. Since, that day to the writing of this letter I have literally loved the sport of softball playing on up to four teams in a season. My thoughts are softball, my clothes are all about softball yes my life is softball. Softball has taught me so much. I have learned many life lessons from both my coaches and teammates. One simple lesson I have learned was practice doesn't make perfection rather perfect practice equals perfection. I learned you don't just show up a practice you need to be in the present time when you are at practice thinking about how can I do this even better, faster, quicker and more accurate!
I am still young, but recently my coaches have informed me that college softball coaches look at the young athletes such as my self. My high school goals are to exceed and play top ball in a Division 1 high school and earn the highest GPA possible. I am currently attending a private Christian school with very high standards and academia I am excited to pursue my high school and college education.
I am extremely disciplined and determined to accomplish the goals that I have set for myself. I have taken actions steps to achieve these goals.
Thank you vey much for your time and attention to my letter I know your time is valuable and you are very busy it really means a lot to me.
Yours In Softball,
Shania
