January 2021Personal Statement
I am the primary Pitcher for the TC Blitz 18u team, and also play some in the outfield. We are based out of the Minneapolis / St. Paul metro area. I also pitch on the varsity team for the 2021 MN state champions - Rosemount High School. We play 4A, which has the largest schools in the state.
On the field I'm a very dedicated and determined player, which shows in my positive work ethic and attitude. My best attributes on the field are as a pitcher. I throw a riseball as my best pitch, and also have a 2 and 4 seam fastball, a change up and a peel drop. I’m also a very dependable outfielder. I'm a great teammate and a quiet leader who leads by example.
My club team plays a very tough and competitive schedule. . As the primary pitcher for our 16u team, this summer I pitched 86 innings and had 104 strikeouts and 3 complete game shutouts! I also batted .230 with a .405 OBP with 2 doubles and 8 RBI.
I was also my team’s primary pitcher in the 2020 summer season. I pitched 102.1 innings with 125 strikeouts and 4 complete game shutouts!
Off the field, I maintain a 3.77/4.0 unweighted GPA within my honors and AP classes. What helps me continue to be successful on and off the field is my work ethic and love of building positive relationships with my teammates, peers, coaches and teachers.
For the next few years of my life, my main goals are to play competitive collegiate softball and get a top education at a great institute. Softball has helped me grow as a person and instilled a fun and competitive drive in me. I look forward to any and all inquiries.
