Hello! My name is Kylie Karsky, I am currently 5’6” and 145 lbs, and am just starting my Sophomore year at Prior Lake high School in Savage, MN. I see my college years as the most important developmental time in my life as I use the time to mature physically and mentally and prepare myself for my impact on the world. I have a strong interest in pursuing an education in Criminal Psychology, Political Science and Physical Therapy this time. I want to align myself with a school that can have the greatest impact on my future career. I am a strong leader and try to be a strong positive influence on and off the field, as a catcher controlling the game and keeping my team motivated and off the field I enjoy participating in many extracurricular school activities, some examples are.. Student Council, Young Life Bible Study, Speech & Debate, and the Jr. Optimist Club.
On the field I have a strong work ethic and an even stronger desire to lead & succeed, I will be a strong contributor to the team in the catcher or outfield positions and will bring a positive attitude and a smile to the field every day! Throughout my years of playing softball, I have learned the true value of teamwork, leadership and sacrifice. As an 8th grader I played up two years on our sophomore team as the starting catcher and as a Freshman I played on our junior varsity team as a starting catcher. Playing for a large high school in a strong section and playing behind D1 committed upper class-man proves to me that I have to be my best 100% of the time to make a future starting varsity position. I have a lot of personal pride in my morals and ethics and hold myself to a high standard in all I do, knowing that my behavior on social media and in the public reflects not only on me, but more importantly on my family, team and school.
