Like most college athletes I have played softball for most of my life, since I was four. I have always loved the game, even when my team had disadvantages. I have had to learn how to be a utility player and play not where I wanted or was best at, but where I could be most useful for my team. I did not have the opportunities to play for many travel teams or very competitive summer leagues or highschool teams. But I learned how work well in whatever situation I was put in and to be a leader for my team which I feel is more like my family. My high school team never made it past first rounds of districts but for the past two years I have made it on the all- conference, all- district, and all-regional teams. Although I am not the most naturally talented player I work hard to be as good as I can be and take any advice I can on how to be a better player.
