Victoria Lane '22 Recruiting Profile

I’m Victoria Lane and it’s always been a goal of mine to play softball in college. I’m a dedicated tri-athlete and leader whether it's in softball, basketball, or volleyball. I’ve been playing softball since I was 5 and my drive and motivation for the sport only grew from there. 

When I’m on the field, I am quick to observe the situation my team is in. As an infielder I stay on my toes because anything can happen. I am a very coachable athlete and will take anything a coach says and quickly put it into my work. I strive to be one of the hardest workers on and off the field. In my school work, I work extra hard to maintain my high GPA and high rank in my class. 

When I think about college, I want to go to a school that pushes myself in class and on the field. I am looking for coaches that treat their players fairly and creates a family atmosphere for their athletes. I want to be part of a program that pushes their athletes and wants them to get better. I’m looking for a program that shows dedication to its athletes and expects the same in return.
