My academic goals for high school are getting and maintaining a 4.0 GPA, graduate early, and if not early graduate top of my class and being Valedictorian. My goals for college are to maintain my grades and keep them above B’s and having a 4.0 GPA. Through playing this sport I have learned about myself that I am not me without this sport, and it has pushed me to go outside of my comfort zone. From meeting new people and creating new friends to being able to feel confident in my skills of being able to read the ball and make appropriate calls when necessary. I first became interested in this sport when I was eight years old. I had no clue what volleyball even was, I had never watched a game or even heard of the sport. I started volleyball for the soul purpose of it being new in my town and I was just flat out curious. I knew as soon as I touched the ball or even stepped on a court to practice I was gonna fall in love with the sport and I have for the past eight years of my life, and I will continue to love the sport even when I’m not playing anymore.
