Olivia Shippy '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Olivia Shippy but most call me Livy. To say I live and breath softball would be pretty generic but its the truth. I began t-ball at 3 years old. Not able to ever be out done by my older sister even then.  Growing up on a farm and in a rural community I was raised with the firm belief in  hard work, integrity and determination.  I take these beliefs into everything I do, especially softball. 

It has always been my dream to pursue college ball. I can't imagine my life ever without softball in it.  The love of the sport, and the drive for the game runs deep in my blood. I come from a long line of individuals dedicated to the sport and hard work  that backs it. My great grandfather founded our local recreational league, the Glenn Shippy League over 40 years ago. I have been blessed to be apart of this sport on every side of it so far and would love to have my dream come true and see it as a college player!
