Desiree Cantrell '23 Recruiting Profile

I love softball. My goal is to coach high school softball and help create a better future generation through hard work  and dedication. I have been pitching since I was 10 and have a strong arsenal of pitching options including: fast pitch, change up, rise ball, and knuckle drown.  Because I am from a small town, I rarely get away from pitching but on travel teams I also do well in the outfield and would consider myself more of a utility player. At the plate I have been improving greatly over the last 2 years both in hitting and bunting.  I want the college experience both for the joy of the game and to be a better coach in the future.
