My whole life I have grown up around the game of baseball. All of my brothers eat, sleep, and breathe the game of baseball which helped me develop the love of softball at a very young age.
Up until my freshman year of high school, I played shortstop all of my life. When I was a freshman, I was asked to play second base in the middle of a varsity game even though I had never played there before. I adapted pretty quickly because I worked hard and made the most of the opportunity that I received. Through this situation I learned that it is very important to know how to play every position and be able to adapt to what your coach asks of you. One of my goals is to be ready to play any position when a coach needs someone to step up. Being a coachable player and having a good work ethic are two qualities that I think are very important and strive to keep everyday.
