Personal Statement

I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Reagan Robinson, I am a 2021 RHP from Stewartsville, MO. My goal is to play softball at the highest level I can achieve. I have been working on pitching since I was 7 years old. I have been privileged to work with mentors such as Paige Parker, Taylor Schlopy, Ivy, and Ellen Renfro. I currently play for Brian Shepherd on Diamond Club Pressure.

From a young age, I was taught to pitch with accuracy and control. I have developed into a very accurate pitcher that can command all of my pitches. My fastball was clocked at 59 mph over the winter. In addition to my fastball I also throw a dropball, riseball, curveball, screwball and changeup. My strike out pitches are my riseball and curveball. I average close to one strikeout an inning and induce a lot of miss hit balls resulting in popups and weak ground balls.

I attend Stewartsville CII High School. I have a lot of pride in our small community and participate in multiple activities including High School Softball, Basketball, Marching Band, Concert Band, FFA, Trap Shooting, Student Council, Art Club, Math Club, Science Club. When you go to a small school like I do, only 18 students in my class, you get to participate in many activities. I also volunteer to help with our local special Olympics softball, basketball, and swimming teams. I believe this helps make me into a more well rounded student athlete.

Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I'm ready to start taking the next steps in my journey to become a college softball player.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
