My name is Larissa Pinski, and I am seeking to transfer to a college that will support my academic ambitions and athletic growth in softball. I spent my first year at Williston State College, where I pursued a degree in computer science and played on the softball team. Although my time at Williston provided valuable experiences, I found that the primarily online format of my computer science courses did not align with my learning style, which hindered my academic progress.
As an athlete, I am deeply committed to my development on and off the field. While the softball program at Williston State was beneficial in many ways, it did not provide the level of advancement and support I need to reach my full potential. I am passionate about continuing to grow as a player and am looking for a program that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and competitive play.
I am particularly drawn to colleges with strong computer science programs that offer a more hands-on and engaging learning environment. I believe that the right academic setting, combined with a robust and supportive softball program, will enable me to excel and achieve my goals.
I am eager to bring my dedication, work ethic, and passion for the game to a new team, and I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to a college that values both academic and athletic excellence.
