Personal Statement
I am Brooklyn Oldehoeft, a 15 year old attending Exeter-Milligan High School in Exeter, NE. I most enjoy playing First Base, but have experience as well as an Outfielder. I have been playing softball since I started on our local T-ball league as a 5 year old. This carried over into the local summer ball program with neighboring communities for the following years. My softball experiences and opportunities grew exponentially the last three years, as that's when I started playing on a travel softball team. Currently, I am playing for Flames of Nebraska- Red Hots. We are an 18B team that has participated in not only in-state tournaments, but Nationals and Worlds tournaments as well.
My High School years are busy with not only keeping up my grades, but with extracurriculars too. I am a member of FFA, FCCLA, and St Johns High School Youth Group, I also participate in One Act Play, band, and the local Awana group. I am uncertain of a college major at this time.
My drive and determination to improve my skills every day, whether through practice, games or weight room, is what sets me apart from other athletes. I believe that I am a role model teammate, as well as a team player. I will embrace whatever role my coach gives me that will help my team succeed.

- Brooklyn trained 1-on-1 with Flames specialty coaches once/week during August and September 2023. This will occur again Aug-Oct 2024.
- RPE Strength & Fitness
- 1 year
- Brooklyn met with a Personal Coach twice/week during the summer break (May-Aug 2024) for one-on-one strength training sessions. In addition, the Coach created personalized strength training plans for Brooklyn to complete on her own. Although her one-on-one sessions will cease throughout the school year, the personalized training plans will continue. The Personal Coach will also check in with her each month to ensure the plans continue to be tailored to her needs.
