“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work”...is my favorite quote. I’ve had to work to get my grades and to become a top flight softball player. I have scraped and scratched and bothered whomever with softball knowledge to grow as a player, teammate and leader.
I love being the first on and last off the field. Putting in the work. Leading and mentoring the younger players; as others have done for me. Pay it back. one on the field and the last to leave.
I will be pursuing exercise science on my way to becoming a Physical Therapist. I hope to work with major college or professional organizations as an athletic trainer and assistant coach.
I am a RHP, left/right fielder, first base, and DP who plays high A level ball and recently a starter on a high school 2020 state champion team.
If you are a coach with a competitive program that encourages an atmosphere of hard work, challenging practices, workouts and sets high expectations, I want to hear from you.
I am Emily Swoboda and I know you have never met anyone like me and will not soon forget. RESPECT.
