Personal Statement

My name is Jenna Schinstock. I am a junior student-athlete at Guardian Angels Central Catholic in West Point, NE. I am beginning to explore my college options and wanting to find one that offers everything I look for in a college: close to home, a great education department, and a competitive softball program with a winning tradition.

For my high school team, I am a starting varsity catcher and in the previous years have received the Lincoln Journal Star all-state softball second team, Omaha World Herald honorable mention and mid-states conference first team. This past year, my team and I battled our way through the losers bracket at the Class C State Championship tournament to force the “if necessary” game only to come up short, losing and finishing second in the tournament.

Academically, I am an honor roll student with a GPA of 3.8892 and ranked seven out of thirty-six in a highly competitive class. I also participate in the Honors Program at my school, which includes college level/credit classes.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
