Hi Coaches!
My dream has been to play softball in college my whole life and I am glad I am finally getting the opportunity to put myself out there for all of you!
My name is Ava Llorens and I am an A to B Student in the class of 2025. Recently I have gotten my second major surgery related to a catching injury. So sadly, I have had to drop that position. My starting position is now 1st base and my secondary is 3rd, though I can play anywhere on the field! I love playing and learning softball every day and I would love for my career to carry on through college. After taking the time off I needed due to my injury I am excited to get back on the field and back to the gym and training again.
Myself, coaches, family, and friends describe me as a person who is confident, positive, and an all-together team player. On or off the field, and even in classrooms, my favorite word is GRIT. What grit means to me is perseverance and positivity whether it comes to getting a bad test grade or not making a play on the field, to me having the best energy towards that situation and letting yourself and your peers help you learn from it is a great factor of a teammates character. I have personally struggled with many things that have tried to block my path to getting to be the athlete I strive to be. That goes from struggling with my ADHD or when I got my huge Knee Surgery in 2020 and 2022. No matter what happens I push myself to be a better version of myself for my peers coaches family and brain.
Thanks for getting to know me!
Ava Llorens
