I have always loved to play sports, no matter which one, my goal was to excel in it. As a little girl, I would join in as many sports as I could. I played co-ed sports until I got into high school. In fact, I got the chance to play volleyball, baseball, tennis, cheerleading, golf, basketball, track and field, and my favorite, softball. I first started playing softball when I got into middle school when I got too old to play baseball. Th moment I held a softball in my hand I just fell in love with it and I knew I could pursue playing for a college team. Ever since I picked up that ball I knew I had to make my dream come true. I am getting a step closer each day by working hard in everything I do. From practicing everyday to getting good grades.
By playing softball, I have learned that I am a leader, I have great communication skills, I am passionate and determined with anything I do, I am a confident and a team player. Softball brings out the best in me and as I continue to play, I learn something new about myself and the game. Each time I step onto the field, the game is shaping me into the person I want to become.
My goals for high school is to graduate with honors, get straight A's my senior year, join as many clubs as possible and give a speech at our graduation ceremony. My goals for college is to earn a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or civil engineering and to play softball. I know that I will make a positive impact on any team I am on and will do my best to lift us up through wins and loses. I may be small, but I have a big heart and am ready to compete at any time.
