Jessica Annello R...Personal Statement
Softball is my passion. I've been playing for almost all of my life. I started playing travel softball around the age of 7.Throught the years my team has gone through a lot. We have won many championships and won as a team. By being a pitcher for about 6 years, I've noticed myself grow into be a better softball player day by day. Being a pitcher comes with commitment to practices and to teams, and i have committed myself to the best i can be as a pitcher. Practicing almost everyday in the summer, winter, spring and fall has helped me with the struggles i have faced while pitching. I have grown into the pitcher i am today,and hope to grow more into a better pitcher and be the best i can be. Being on a club team has helped me develop strong lasting relationships, and how important it is to rely on each other and to work together to get your team to the top.
Academically, I attend Colonie Central High School. I work very hard and study a lot to keep my grades up and keep my GPA up.I've been a starter on Junior Varsity for both my freshman and my sophomore year. I work very hard to bring the school team to the top and be the best that we can.
My biggest goal in life is making it into a Division I school. I train everyday to improve my skills and become more educated in the game of softball. I dream of being a pitcher in a tough academic school with one of the top softball associations. My dream is to compete with the best of the best!

Training
- Pitching
- 6 years
- Over the winter on Thursdays and Saturdays i train at a warehouse and pitch for an hour and a half. On Thursdays i also go to a school where some former college pitchers go and give us advice and tips on our pitching, it goes on for an hour. Also over the winter on Mondays the softball coaches at my school hold a pitching / catching clinic and it goes on for about an hour and a half. When i don't have a clinic or have the warehouse available, i usually go to Allstars Academy and pitch for about an hour an a half.

- Over the winter i try to get as much batting time i can. If im not busy Tuesdays and are not pitching i usually bat. I bat at AllStars Academy. On Wednesdays the softball coaches at my high school hold a batting clinic, it goes on for bout an hour and a half. Thursdays and Saturdays at the warehouse where my team practices i bat for about an hour after i pitch.
