Hello, my name is Kelly Parucki, I am a 17 year old, living in Amherst, New York. I am currently playing travel softball for the Clarence Red Devils. I started playing baseball at the age of four, when I turned 11, I started playing softball. Softball is one of the most important aspects of my life, I plan on playing softball as long as I possibly can. Playing softball in college is something I have had planned and has been driven in my head since as long as I can remember. I am very focused and determined both in sports and academically. I have maintained my grades with honors and high honors throughout my education. I have a cumulative 3.6 GPA. The entirety of my family has been involved with baseball and softball their whole lives, so I have always been around the influence of the sport. In the early 70's, my grandmother co-founded Amherst Girls softball, which was the first softball team in that area. Let's just say, softball is in my blood. It is very important to me for a team to get along where we all can blend and support each other, so I always try to uplift and cheer on my teammates no matter the situation. I like to take charge to help the team in any way possible, and to me softball is a team sport you play for your teammates and you play hard for them. I plan on majoring in Veterinary sciences or Animal sciences. I would love to play softball while upholding my education. I look forward to speaking with you and thank you for your consideration.
