I am very driven when it comes to my sport. I haven't been playing as long as other athletes have, I only started when I was about 14 and I am now 17, so it has only been 3 years. In freshman year, when I started, I only played a few games in the season in the outfield, mainly playing the bench. However, I put my all into getting better, and I joined a travel team for the summer in New Jersey. I then learned about a league called G-plaHers, where I went to clinics all throughout the fall and winter until the next season, where I played for both my high school team, where I was starting shortstop, and in the G-plaHers recreational league, where I was both a starting pitcher or third baseman, depending on which teams we were playing. Now, I continue to play for my high school team, where I am starting shortstop, and batting 2nd in the lineup, while also being my team's best offensive player. I also play for the new G-plaHers travel team at the same time.
