I have hopes of becoming a successful woman one day. If I earn the opportunity to continue to play softball at the collegiate level, I can be an asset to the team in the sense of a community builder, a motivator, friend, and most of all teammate. As an athlete since young, I have learned how to balance my school and sports while ensuring that my grades are above average. From being on many different teams, I have learned that what makes me different from other recruits is the drive I have to better my craft and become a better player. The stand out point is the respect and admiration for the entire coaching staff. I have seen what a small bit of dissention can do to a team or locker room dynamic. My best skill would be the ability to adapt, accept constructive criticism, and progress in hopes of reaching all goals set for me, whether they were set by my coach or myself.
