Montgomery Kessler '22 Recruiting Profile

Winning the sectional championship in 8th grade was by far the highlight of my softball career so far. However, I believe that losing in regionals really shaped my character. It not only gave me something to work for the next four years but it also made me realize how much love I have for the sport. I discontinued my hockey career to put more work into softball. I am now playing for a travel team called Smash It Sports year round as well as, doing outside work like batting and catching lessons. Losing that game made me more determined to reach my goal of playing college softball. Not only do I put all my effort out on the field I also am very determined in the classroom. I have a very good work ethic, I'm very positive, like to make people laugh, supportive, super competitive, and overall a good person. I always make sure my grades are the best they can be and I don't let my friends interrupt with the success of my grades or on the field. Overall, I am looking forward to what the future has in store and I'm very determined to reach all my goals.
