I have always had a strong love for softball since I was a little girl. I have been playing softball for eight years. I love being on the field, when I'm not on the field I'm devoted to focusing on mechanics and fundamentals to help me be better on the field.
I believe that practice is supposed to be harder than the game.
I'm definitely a player that understands the difference between being confident and being cocky. As a softball player, I notice that my opponents can become distressed or upset with themselves, and this definitely affects how they play. I think keeping a positive mindset and attitude throughout the whole game is extremely important as an athlete.
When I'm not playing softball I like to ride four-wheelers, swim, and hang out with family. Family is essential to me and I am highly family-orientated. Although school is not one of my most prominent strengths, I still strive to do my best and put in the hard work. I maintain good grades and try to be a responsible leader.
While softball is my primary passion and I aspire to play softball in college, my passion goes beyond the field and into helping others. My career aspirations at this time include physical therapy or occupational therapy.
