To me softball is not just a game, but a life lesson as well. Not only does it teach me how to be a better person but it builds my character. The game has taught me many things including, not to give up, always give a 110%, and to do what you love. My love for the game began ever since I was little and has, and will continue to grow.
Everyday I work hard, both on and off the field. In the classroom I make sure to maintain my GPA of a 4.0; as I believe my education is very important. I plan to continue my education in hopes of becoming a physical therapist. To help me get a head start on getting a feel for the field, I am currently volunteering at a physical therapist clinic, where I am shadowing the doctors there. On the field, I practice hard everyday, in hopes of getting one percent better. Whenever I am being coached I am very opened to new ideas and suggestions, knowing that my coaches always have my best interest in mind. I feel a very special trait I possess is a great work ethic and I always put others first.
My goal is to play at the collegiate level. After seeing the bonds formed on college teams, while doing and playing what you love, and still getting an education; to me it sounds like a dream come true. I look forward to making that dream come true one day.
