As long as I can remember I have been competing. I'm blessed to be a twin. My older brother, by one minute, and I have always pushed each other in the classroom and on various sports fields. I also have younger twin sisters. Therefore, I learned the concept of teamwork immediately. My parents have taught us the value of hard work and perseverance. Our house can get a little crazy, but like any successful team, we all need to work together to achieve common goals. In our house, family, academics, and sports are all very important. My goal is to attend the most challenging academic institution because the only thing more important to me then racking up K's is maintaining straight A's.
My love for the game first started when I was little and played baseball with my brother. But then I was forced to play softball, and turns out I ended up loving it. I had finally found a group of girls that were tough and competitive like me. This path lead me to win the New York State Little League Championship at the age of nine. Two years later, we did it again and this time we got to go to Bristol, Connecticut, for the chance to win the Eastern Regionals. Unfortunately, we came one win shy of a trip to Portland, Oregon for the Little League World Series.
My development as a student, athlete, and as a person is my primary goal. I would love to go to where I can play and receive a great education. I look forward to being the best I can be, wherever a coach believes I will best benefit the team!
