Hello, I am Kaleigh Ciesielski and I am a student at Maryvale High School playing 4 varsity sports for 2 years now (softball, basketball, volleyball, and soccer). I aspire to work in the medical field, either as a Physicians Assistant or Medical Doctor. I would love to attend college while playing the sport I have loved since I was 5 years old. I am a scholar student with high honors. I take time to study and do extra credit to fully understand a difficult topic. I am a team player in school as well as on the field because I assist others in our study groups. I am very involved in the community as I volunteer at charitable events in my church as well as the town.
On the field, I encourage my teammates to do their best even if they made a mistake. I learn from my own mistakes by practicing, asking another player, or asking the coach how I can improve my game. I find myself researching different ways to become a better player by watching highlight videos, opposing team games, or practicing drills. I can read a bunt so quick that no one can get past me at third base! I am becoming a better utility player and a stronger short stop. I love trying new things and learning how to play with a new team. During COVID 2020, I played soccer for school for the first time! The coach asked if I could play again this year as a sub, knowing volleyball is my first choice as a fall sport. I work hard and always try my best whether it be athletics or academics.
